From play to impact: Let's Play Equal at B Corp Summit
Last week, we attended the B Corp Beyond Summit in Brussels. There, we gave a teaser of Let's Play Equal and showed how you can discover and tackle inequality in teams in a playful way.

The B Corp Beyond Summit is the annual event for B Corps from Belgium and Luxembourg. With more than 200 entrepreneurs, changemakers and purpose-driven professionals in one space, it's the place to let ideas arise, build collaborations and create momentum. This year's theme: “The Next Era of Impact”. From intent to action, from individual leadership to collective responsibility. Blyde Benelux attended and gave a teaser workshop by Let's Play Equal.
During the workshop, we were allowed to really let participants feel how inequality works. In Let's Play Equal, players take on the role of different personas, and everyone starts with an uneven hand — like in the real world. The game shows how privileges, opportunities, and obstacles work together, and how that impacts your team. In 45 minutes, everything happened: laughs, aha moments, serious conversations. You can immediately see how inequality affects cooperation, without it becoming an educational chat. The game makes it clear that equity and inclusion are not abstract words, but something you can feel and do something with.
Energy, inspiration, and system hacking
The Summit was full of energy. From breakout sessions to keynote speeches. One of the highlights was the closing keynote of Arash Aazami:
“The B Corp movement is a hack: it didn't wait for the system to change, it is creating a new one that works.”
Arash reminded us that real change does not come from waiting, but by building systems ourselves that do work. You also feel exactly that mindset in Let's Play Equal: daring to experiment, play, ask questions and initiate change.
